S&R Foundation currently grants three awards – the S&R Washington Award, the S&R Ueno Award and the S&R Kuno Award– and works in partnership with other nonprofit organizations to further the talents of young artists, scientists and social entreprenuers.

Recognizes a young scientist, primarily in the field of health care-related sciences, who demonstrates outstanding promise in ion channels or epithelial barrier function research.

S&R Foundation’s Kuno Award for Applied Science for the social good is a biennial $100,000 award designed to support social innovators using scientific research and principles to address a 21st Century problem.

Recognizes talented emerging artists in music, dance, and visual arts.
